I'm encountering a minor problem with the batch converter since moving to new hardware. M1Max processor running MacOS 12.4. Running release 17.7 (2).
Starting the batch process to convert files, I typically view the 'list' to make sure I have all the right files. When I try starting the process, it hangs. If I cancel the process, it works on the 2nd try.
1. app selector
2. batch selector window showing'4 LevelOne' folder containing folders of files to be processed
3. after clicking the 'list' function showing 9 files to be processed
4. next window ready to process
5. list of the files and status showing 0 seconds elapsed, which hangs for an extended period.
I'll add another post with the final window when complete.
This is most interesting. I was able to narrow down which part of the application has to be be responsible but not identify the culprit.
Please try the latest beta of dBpoweramp: https://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthr...Mac-R17-8-beta
(No need to overwrite your R17.7, can just run it from the DMG).
After launching R17.8 beta 5, please enable "Write debug logs" under Advanced Settings / Diagnostics then recreate the problem. A number of DBDebug-<number>.txt files will be written in your Documents folder during conversions, I'd like to examine them. I should then be able to identify and fix this.
Note that "Write debug logs" is deliberately not preserved across app restarts, so if you close reopen dBpoweramp, it has to be enabled again
If you can trigger it again, debug logs of the incident would be most welcome. Something in the process of launching conversion was failing/stalling but I still can't identify which part exactly.
