A loud noise of about 1 second occurs between ripped songs.
I am listening to 16bit/44.1KHz WAV files on my colorfly C4 player (C4).
I have been ripping WAV files with Exact Audio copy (EAC).
I have been able to listen to them on C4 without any problems.
This time I bought dbpoweramp and ripped 16bit/44.1KHz WAV files with CD ripper, and there is a loud noise for about 1 second between songs (when switching songs).
Is there a setting in dbpoweramp's CD ripper that prevents this kind of noise from occurring?

Re: A loud noise of about 1 second occurs between ripped songs.
dBpoweramp Tags wave files in a correct way, some poorly written players play everything in a wave file as audio, even the ID Tags, to stop use the ID Tag processing DSP and set it to delete all tags.

Re: A loud noise of about 1 second occurs between ripped songs.
Thank you very much for your suggestion.
As you wrote, I cleared the ID tag from the WAV files ripped with dbpoweramp and the noise for about 1 second is gone.
However, there is still a little noise between songs when I listen to songs on C4.
I checked the WAV files ripped with EAC and the ID tag property was clear.
When I listen to a WAV file ripped with EAC on C4, there is no petit noise between songs.
What settings should I make in dbpoweramp to eliminate this petit noise?

Re: A loud noise of about 1 second occurs between ripped songs.
Please upload one of the wave files to drop box, or similar and provide a link to my personal mail on this forum.

Re: A loud noise of about 1 second occurs between ripped songs.
Removing the tag created a place holder for it, you are best setting the option:
dBpoweramp Control Centre >> codecs list / options
Wave tagging set to none.
Converting those dbpoweramp files wave >> wave will correct them

Re: A loud noise of about 1 second occurs between ripped songs.
Great!!!
As you pointed out, I set Tag creation to none in the WAV settings screen and did a wav->wav conversion and the noise is gone.
Thanks for the support!
