Thread: WMA-->FLAC...keep the WMA files?

    WMA-->FLAC...keep the WMA files?

    Noobie question...

    I have a library of lossless rips, some in WMA lossless and some in FLAC. I'd like to have FLACs of everything. If I convert the WMA's to FLAC is there any reason to keep the WMAs? I'm thinking since they are both lossless and were I to delete the WMAs, I could convert the FLACs back again in the future with no loss in quality...am I correct?

    TIA,

    Mike

    No need to keep if the conversion was successful.
