13.5 vs 17.7 - Metadata

Gents, Ladies….

a couple of years ago I bought the version 13.5 and digitised all my CDs.
In the meantime I bought a couple of new CDs which I wanted to rip today. Starting dB Rip I realised that freedb is no longer available. Is there a way to get the metadata anyway? Is this possibel with 13.5 or do I have to upgrade to 17.7?

In CD Ripper R13.5, what is selected in Menu > Active Providers?

Your options are continue with R13.5, but you will not get metadata from freedb or All Media Guide OR upgrade, to get the latest providers and access to a snapshot of the freedb database circa 2020.

Yes. In the last years metadata providers have quitted their services or changed their protocols. The world keeps on turning...

I'm on 17.7 and have no problems with the actual metadata providers.
