Did you see my reply to the thread you started yesterday?

If you've performed a secure rip (CD Ripper Settings > Ripping Method : Secure) it should be in the same folder as your ripped files.

I had ripped some CDs now with dBpoweramp, but don't see a log (text) file as EAC or XLD do - so I make screen shots if the rip is finished, on a Mac no problem, but I would prefer a text log include track* title CRC.
Past 12 years I use only Macs and ripped before with XLD.

        greetings
        Fred

Can you post a screenshot of your CD Ripper Options screen?

dbpoweramp will create a full log (text file) stored in the same folder with the album tracks. But there is a setting to turn this on (and select he detail desired in the log). This setting is somewhere in the CD Ripper Settings options.

              Re: resultant log file

I run dBpoweramp Release 17.5 (1) on am M1 Mac Mini, Monterey 12.2.1.
dBpoweramp Release 17.5 is the native M1 CPU Version.

But there are no logs. Where is the point in the menu's that I could turn on this?

I want the logs similar as XLD created in the the same folder as the music files saved.

With this, I see the Log, but cannot save them automatically in the current rip folder

It is a "secure ripping log" so not sure being in the secure ripping settings is particularly hidden. But in any case, you'll likely want to change the log level from 'simple' to 'full' or 'complete' (I can't recall the description for full log, but it will be clear).

It works now perfect for me!

At one CD - I had only problems with Japanese characters to listen in Audirvana Studio (only ??? seen) - with Mp3tag I cold help me.
One of my preferred music comes from far east - Japan and Himalayan region. Some are Japanese pressed CDs.

Thank you for this great information! I've been trying to figure-out how to get proper log files saved with my flac files and that detail about performing "secure rip" resolved the issue. Thanks again!
