    Suggestions for standard tags

There are three custom tags that I would like to see added to the list of stock or standard tags that are listed when I click on the ADD button while tagging a file or set of files:

Catalog * - this is a fairly common tag that I have to type in every time I want to include that in the metadata tags
Source - indicating whether the file came from a CD, SACD, DVD-A or download
Website - in the case of a downloaded file, the URL where it was downloaded

I realize the list of standard tags must be limited to a selection that can be shown in the popup window, but it would be great if you added at least Catalog * to the next update. Thanks...

    * I mean the character signifying "Number" or "No." - Why does this HTML editor insert an asterisk every time I type the uppercase character on my 3 key?!

    Re: Suggestions for standard tags

Maybe there is a way to edit what tags pop up in the 'add' list?
I too would like to add some tags to the list so that I don't have to type them out each time.
I'm not talking about standard tags, but that could also be nice. Comment used to always show on the main Edit ID Tags window, but now does not.

They do stay, if I click add again, but they get cleared as soon as the Edit ID Tags window closes.

The next update to R17 adds this, and the ability to show the DefaultTagEdit.txt entries always in CD ripper.

If you add your tag to:

          %appdata%\dBpoweramp\DefaultTagEdit.txt

(paste that location into Windows File Explorer address bar), in Notepad enter the tag name you want and it will always appear in the tag editor.

            Good day,

Maybe there is a way to edit what tags pop up in the 'add' list? >> where is this pop up, please ?

I have added two new tags as mentionned by Spoon but these one appears nowhere in DBP.

            Thanks

These personal extra tags will appear in the dialog if you edit the tags.
