Add DSP effects when converting if they were in the original file?

I've ripped a few CDs to flac with the ripper set up as per the guide. I've then batch converted them to MP3 to use in my phone. That all seems to have worked fine but I'm wondering if the DSP effects set up when ripping to flac are carried over with the conversion? I don't think I did anything to set Apply Gain or the like when converting. Most tracks play at an appropriate volume but the are a few that seem quiet.

    Thanks for any help.

What exact dsp effects did you use when ripping?

I haven't the computer with me to check just now, but I went with the recommended settings in the ripper set up guide.
I'll check later when I get home.

Hi, I opened the ripper up on my computer, I've got ReplayGain & nothing else in DSP effects.

Replaygain (not the apply) just writes an ID Tag for the player to adjust the volume.

To play on your phone use Replaygain when converting to write those tags again, and use a replaygain compatible player, such as foobar mobile.

Ok that's good to know, no big deal to delete those I've converted & do again with the replay gain on.
            Thanks for your help.
