We have verified the issue exists, will require much more time to determine what is causing it.

    We have a fix:

    https://www.dbpoweramp.com/beta/m4a-decoder.zip

    Download, unzip, then copy into:

    C:\Program Files\dBpoweramp\decoder\

replacing the existing file there. If the file will not copy because it is in use, restart the computer and do the copy.

Let me know if fixes for you.

On conversion off 3 files all seems to be fixed, there are no blank spots. There is about a .01 of a second added on to beginning of the converted mp3 file otherwise PERFECT. Thank you Spoon.

    Can the issue be explained?

The encoding introduces a delay, mp3 and m4a (aac) have delays built into them.

Convert to wave to see where the delay exists.

    Hello Spoon,

I've just bought the dBpoweramp suite (on MacOS). I have the same problem that described here.

When I put M4a files to be converted to MP3, the sound is not correct. (Cuting every two seconds.)
    I've tried every cases.

Do you have a solution for mac users?

    Thank you,

    Hello Spoon,

I've just bought the db suite.
I face the same issue as I put m4a files into the batch processor to get mp3s. The converted files sounds terrible. (cut, etc...)
