    Perfect tunes comes up with 'contains no ID tags' on synology NAS

    I have ripped a large amount of music onto a Synology NAS, but when i go in via either windows explorer right click 'dBpoweramp ID tag edit' or perfect tunes all the fields are empty and the above message appears.
    I assume the data is there as it is used by Asset and the synology audio program. Note - when I rip CDs i rip to a local drive (where I can 'see' the ID tags) and then upload to the NAS the folders/files.
    Any thoughts please on how to get past this.

    Try copying one file to your local computer and look at the tags when it is there.

    It could be a read permission error.
