    Manual Search not working

    Hello

i have never ran into an issue when using the manual search to pull in data from discogs. last night it would not work so i updated to current release and it is still saying no data found even though the release info is on discogs. not sure if its just these few cds not working or if a have an issue. its occurred on two different releases so far

You could try an older release which worked in the past. Post the discogs disc url here for the one which is not working please.

Copy the URL without the bit on the end, such as:

    https://www.discogs.com/release/18590104

Thanks Spoon, your suggestion works, but until a few days ago there was no need to copy just a part of the URL. Why has the behavior changed?

I'm trying to manually search this link
    https://www.discogs.com/release/1599...t-Hits-1954-61
its active and I can see this record in Discogs.

However, when I paste it in the dbpoweramp, nothing happens.
Any configuration or other considerations I'm missing?

    Thanks...

    Re: Manual Search not working

Hi, I just joined the forum, but my reply doesn't show somehow.
Anyways, I am interested in the resolution, this link is not working for me
    https://www.discogs.com/release/1599...t-Hits-1954-61
    Using Mac Catalina; dbpoweramp v17.5

    Thanks...

    I'm not so sure, Spoon.

I'm using R17.7 on Windows 7 32-bit. The URL copy technique worked once for me last week, but not this week. Have tried copying the URL with and without the trailing text. Is there some special trick to making this work?

Discogs is the only accurate and reliable source for my CD content. FreeDB is hopelessly inaccurate and the other two sources rarely have my CDs. So without Discogs, my ripping is on hold.

Since the URLs can change at any time, perhaps it would be a good idea to keep the relevant code in a config file that could be available for users to download and install as needed. That way we won't have to wait for the next dBpoweramp release.

I'm a new user and otherwise the ripper is working great for me. Hope a solution can be found soon.

UPDATE: Never mind, I figured it out. The copy URL trick only works when the Manual Tag Edit window is already open.
