ALAC to other codecs. Can't wait. dBPoweramp continues to be a great tool.
I would not mind a sample of one of these files. Apparently the streams are stored in the MP4 container.
Can somebody point me to were I could obtain one?
Can ITunes create them?
Cheers
Yes, creating them is an option in iTunes.Originally Posted by SeeMoreDigital
Also, Apple just released a Software Development Kit for iTunes, which might help Spoon out with this work:
This SDK provides header files, documentation, and sample JScript files demonstrating how to use the iTunes for Windows COM interface. COM is the Microsoft technology, similar to AppleScript on Mac OS, that allows programmatic control of iTunes from languages like JScript, Visual Basic®, C*®, and C++.
any progress? just curious...
Next week for the lossless decoder + tag editor. For encoding the Apple
Quicktime mp4 plugin will encode to lossless if it is set as the last encoding type in QuickTime.

i am having trouble finding the setting in quicktime (win) to export apple lossless. is it part of the "movie to mpeg-4" preferences like standard aac?
