Can you look at the originals for those early files mentioned, could it be TF has never written RG tags?

    They no longer exist.

I am coming to that conclusion also.

Will investigate more when working on TF again, however RG was written when I tested.

FYI, I tested earlier today, syncing a flac album to mp3 with RG DSP only (track gain, album gain, itunes album normalization) and only the track gain was written.

    Further testing, now with R1.6:

    1. Sync a flac album to mp3 with the ReplayGain DSP only (track gain, album gain, itunes album normalization) and the track gain, track peak, album gain, album peak and itunes album normalization are all written.

    2. Sync a flac album to mp3 with the ID Tag Processing DSP and the ReplayGain DSP (track gain, album gain, itunes album normalization) and the album gain, album peak and itunes album normalization are written, but the track gain and track peak are NOT written.

    3. The album peak and track peak values differ (although only slightly) from the peak values generated by the ReplayGain Utility Codec (and the foobar2000 ReplayGain tool).

What do you have ID Tag processing set to?

Nothing, just the defaults. I simply added the ID Tag Processing DSP and moved it to the top of the DSP list.

Will look at this when next examining TF.

Re: Music Converter vs TuneFUSION ReplayGain

I would really like the Music Converter/TuneFusion ReplayGain inconsistencies and, the issues with ReplayGain DSP and ID Tag Processing DSP in TuneFusion to be sorted.

It's been several months now where this has NOT been working and I have to do ReplayGain manually in Music Converter, which of course renders TuneFusion redundant.
