Hi...
Why do my files ripped on PC end with .aif?
And files ripped on MAC ends with .aiff?
Is there a box I haven't ticked?
Thanks!
Thomas

I guess it is simply different OS standards. Read this dBpoweramp AIFF Codec
No.
Just different standards, it is on our to-do list now to change the Mac version to .aif

Thanks Spoon, for clarifying.
But changing Mac files to .aif??
I mean, it's a Mac format and have always been .aiff (in Mac world, anyways)
To me it would make a lot more sense, if AIFF files created on PC were called .aiff
iTunes on OSX writes .aif files

I never used iTunes.. And it's been 15 years since I last worked with .aiff And ripped CD's
Something points to the fact that I, myself are in desperate need of a 2.0 (at least) firmwareupdate ;-)
