Problems writing FLAC after ripping discs

    Good evening,

I've been ripping my entire collection and have half a dozen discs out of maybe 400 so far that exhibit this problem.

The tracks seems to rip but won't write giving this error:-

Error ripping to FLAC, 'Track 1' to '\\nas\music\Pet Shop Boys\Please\01 - Two Divided By Zero.flac'
Error writing to temporary file (Win:0): [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]

It doesn't appear to be a problem with the mapped drive that's been written to - all the other CD's so far have no issues.

I've a couple of drives in my PC (ASUS BW-16D1HT + Sony Optiarc DVD-RW AD-7260S) and the same happens with both - so I'm suspecting some kind of copy protection on the CDs?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Many thanks,

The error relates to writing a temporary file, what DSP effects are you using?

      Hi Spoon,

I did have the Replay Gain on - but even when I remove it, the same error occurs.

Close CD Ripper, run dbpoweramp control center >> Advanced

right at the end is an option to enable debug mode, enable it, rip just 1 track from a cd and close CD Ripper. Log file(s) will appear, copy and paste them here please.

            You have this DSP effect:

            Audio CD - De-emphasis (non-live)

            Remove it.

              Thanks Spoon,

The effect wasn't obviously been applied, so I reset all and this has solved my problem.

Many thanks for your time :-)
