Metadata Is Only Checked at One Source - SonataDB

Recently I noticed that my dBPoweramd CD Ripper is only checking for metadata at one place, namely SonataDB. Other sources shown at the top of the metadata window include AMG, Music Brainz and FreeDB, but no data is listed under any of those. I've tried a variety of CDs - classical, pop, jazz, all with the same result.
On one CD SonataDB returned an incorrect track list and another rather obscure CD it returned a blank, no data at all.
My dBPoweramp version is dBpoweramp Reference
Can anyone suggest how to fix this, please?

    See:

R2023 included many updates to the ever changing metadata landscape, in the recent years: All Media Guide (AMG) service has been discontinued freedb.org has also been discountiuned musicbrainz updated their servers, resulting in R16 or older not being able to read the metadata R2023 addresses all these issues and providers
