    Converting Track Names

    Hi
An older, newbie, please be gentle!

I have approx 4,000 tracks named as below, in one folder.

    00-A Winter's TaleDavid Essex.mp3
01-(I Wanna) Love My Life AwayGene Pitney.mp3

WE have a further 8000 tracks named artist - song title Is there a way I can batch convert the above to just artist - song title please?
    i.e.
    David Essex - A Winter's Tale
Gene Pitney - (I Wanna) Love My Life Away

My Folder has additional columns indicating Track No, Title, Contributing Artist and Album
Any help would really be appreciated.
    Thank you

    Do those tracks have metadata?

assuming the tag data is all there (i.e., ARTIST, TRACK, TITLE, etc), you can use "convert to" ARRANGE AUDIO utility DSP to rename your tracks based on the info you want.

You may need to install the DSP. See:

          Hi Garym
Thank you kindly for your reply.
The webpage you mention has a list of options but unable to see DSP. I have the full dBpoweramp Music Converter & CD Ripper - Reference R17 Family Pack version. Would that include DSP, please?
          Thank you

I was thinking of creating a snip of what information I have but the forum won't allow me to attach a snip.
            Sorry.

                Hi Garym
Thank you kindly for your reply.
I have followed your webpage and unable to locate DSP on it. I have all the options available as I purchased dBpoweramp Music Converter & CD Ripper - Reference R17 Family Pack.
I've right clicked on a track followed convert to, but it doesn't give me an arrange audio option.
                Your guidance would be appreciated.
                Thank you
