I have changed my Windows Home Server based NAS (Assetnas) to A Synology 720+
Asset software package installed, transfer of music from old to new complete.
Able to access music on my streamer-No problems.

What I find different is the configuration on the Synology. I had got used to the graphic tree browse system on my ‘Windows’ NAS. I had my music sorted in a certain way, to display in a way I was used too.
Is there an ‘Idiots Guide’ on a webpage or forum page that I could access to see how to change the configuration on my Synology NAS?
Any help would be appreciated.

Theres no idiots guide, but once you get into it, its fairly self intuitive.
What browse views do you want? and what do you have with default that you dont want or dont see?

My old settings were:
Artist
Title
Album
Year
Genre
Dynamic Browsing.
With all the relevant settings within each section set (A-Z etc)
My music has all the metadata set in the same way

What tablet are you browsing on, iOS or Android ???
Im wondering what your problem is & why you can't change the browse tree to your preferences.
Do you have the Synology GUI on your PC or Mac & have you set it correctly to view the Asset settings = in the URL line your NAS IP Address plus :45537
e.g. = http: // 192.168.1.XXX:45537/

As it happens my own settings are not far from yours,
