1. The network is fine. Wired connection. I think this is not the reason ...
Stereo DSD up to 256 - playing without problems, 5.1 DSD128,256 - playing "stably", but at a reduced speed several times. 5.1 DSD64 - normal speed.
2. Sorry, maybe in future releases ?

Perhaps the player cannot understand 5.1, try foobar2000 with the UPnP addition, and test those streams.

Yes, Foobar2000 + UPnP/DLNA component plays 5.1 DSD128,256 (as WAV) at normal speed(
