New PC CD reader not compatible?

Hi

I recently changed to a new Dell PC, and whist in all other respects, the CD/DVD player works perfectly, it doesnt seem to work properly with CD Ripper.
I get a message asking for calibration, and then after an attempt, get this message:-
cd ripper error.jpg

I have tried several pristine CD's but keep getting the same message.
Is my CD player incompatable with CD Ripper?

Just keep trying with popular CDs. Sometimes one can get the drive setup for AccurateRip with a single CD. Sometimes it takes trying 15 or 20 different CDs. Just keep trying....

Thanks, but I've now tried 30 to 40 CD's with the same messages popping up.
Any ideas??

Keep trying and it will eventually configure.

I had given up on the drive in my new Dell PC as it had failed with 3 discs. Then I saw this post and tried again and it got there on disc 12
