FLAC to *.AAC Format
A customer wants ripped CDs that are already available as FLAC also in AAC format.
Expressly not with the extension m4a.
As I find out, when AAC is selected, *.m4a is still used as extension. We also have Steinberg Wavelab, which also uses *.m4a as the file extension. How do I get real *.aac? Or can I rename the file and nobody and no app would notice?
I briefly tested other programs. There I lose all ID-TAGs.
Please help, thank you.

Re: FLAC to *.AAC Format
.aac is a raw aac format, very little will play that. Also it has no ID Tags.

Re: FLAC to *.AAC Format
Thank you. I'll discuss this with the customer.
Except for this customer, universities (for example University of Heidelberg) use raw AAC for streaming audio data from websites.
Therefore the raw AAC format should be supported.
