Wanting To Rip My Own Copy Protected DVD's - libdvdcss

    Hi Guys

I need some help with ripping my personal copy protected DVD's.

Am I correct in assuming that DBpoweramp Video WILL NOT 'out of the box'?

If so how best to update DBpoweramp Video to allow for such ripping of my copy protected DVD's?

I understand that the Handbrake App can accommodate such ripping if a 'libdvdcss' file is installed in a Mac - would this also work for DBpoweramp video?.

Would greatly appreciate help and guidance.

Such a lib would not be used by the video converter.

Ripping and conversion are generally regarded as separate processes. There are overpriced packages out there that take an all-in one approach. Personally, I prefer to manage the processes separately, with the added step of managing metadata as an interim step. As for which tools, that depends partly on the container and codec formats that you ultimately want your media in.
