Asset v7 does not work well with WIN10 20H2 update

Hi,

Is anyone else having this problem with Asset v7 and Windows 10 20H2?
Asset loads fine but tells me that the media library stopped working...
It will not scan the library nor can Linn Kazoo software find any music files
version 6.2, which I had for ages played fine, I tried going back to that setup and the same issues occurred.

does anyone have an idea as what's causing this?
