CD ripper requiring administrator privilege to detect CD

I haven't ripped a CD in a while and when I went to today I kept getting an error that no disk was detected. Windows 10 detects it and shows my drive with an audio CD.

Based on some searching here I tried running CD Ripper with administrator privilege and that worked. How can I get the CD Ripper working properly without having to right click the icon to select admin every time?

It will be a security setting somewhere in Windows, I do not know which one though sorry.

Has anyone else solved this issue before?

Is the icon a shortcut? If so, right-click the icon > properties > Advanced and tick Run as administrator

This is on my Windows program icons panel. I suppose I could create a shortcut but I would like to fix why it doesn't work as a regular user if possible.

Windows 10 Home or Pro? Which version/build of Windows 10 are you running?
