which Raspberry/Linux should i buy

Hello,

i'm trying Asset UPnP on Windows and like how it works. Now i plan to buy a raspberry with external HD and install asset.
The raspberry should only run Asset. 2 Questions:

1) do i benefit from more ram? 8GB instead of 4GB?
2) which linux do you recommend me (easy to install and manage, maybe with GUI)?

Hi, I run Asset on a RPi2 with DietPi, as a dedicated UPnP server.
There is very little resource usage once the initial database build is complete.

Thanks for your answer. Good to know that it works on a RPi2, but i will buy a RPi4, so brings more ram benefits?
Is there a graphical UI for the Asset Configuration on the RPi with dietpi?

There is.
Have a screenshot, but can’t seem to upload on my iPad.
But all very easy to use.
I’m sure Asset will work well on a RPi4.
I started out using Asset on an original RPi so the RPi2 was a big step up.
