    Self modifying "Output To" field

    Hi,
from time to time, when I launch a batch conversion of a folder I find that the output folder is different from the one I had configured.
My default "Output to" configuration has:
    • Base Location: [origdrive]
    • Dynamic Naming: [TRIMLASTFOLDER][origpath][]\[origfilename]

At times, typically the first time I boot the PC, I end up with having:
    • Base Location: D:\Users\Paolo\Music\
    • Dynamic Naming: [TRIMLASTFOLDER][origpath][]\[origfilename]

This happens on 3 different PCs, even though on some it is more frequent than on others, and every time only at the first use of dBpoweramp after I've booted the machine.
If I change again the configuration to my default one, all the following conversions have the correct "Output To" value.

What drives me crazy is that at times this does not happen at all and after the boot the configuration is exactly as I am expecting it.

Any suggestion on how to fix this issue?

    Best Regards
    Paolo

Re: Self modifying "Output To" field

Something external to dBpoweramp is restoring or deleting the registry entries on reboot.

    The values are in:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Illustrate\dBpoweramp\d MCCodec\[codec name]\DMCDynamicNaming

      Thanks,
I&*8217;ll try to monitor the registry entry to find out what is modifying it.
