Importing wav files created with dBpoweramp CD Ripper

I ripped a couple of thousand CDs to wav files so I could sell off my collection. When I try to import the wav files into iTunes, Windows Media Player or other app I get thousands of "unknown artist" entries. Is there an app that will reconfigure my wav files for ease of importing?

These 2 programs will not read ID Tags from Wave files, if wanting for iTunes convert to Apple Lossless, then import.

try foobar2000. It might. And it's a much better player than itunes or WMP. Download from here:

What are you trying to stream to? (what sort of players/endpoints). I personally use Logitech Media Server (LMS) as a music server and squeezeboxes or virtual squeezeboxes (rPis running Squeezelite) as endpoints. This plays almost any sort of file, can play different music to different endpoints or sync multiple endpoints with the same music. All controllable by smart phones, tablets, PC, etc. There's also Roon Labs which does the same thing, but is not free. There's also dbpoweramp product, ASSET upnp. Lot's of good choices. Google around a bit to learn about these.

I think there are many different ways to stream via Bluetooth. I don't personally use that approach for streaming around the house so have no specific advice.
