the tag: <Various Artists> should use the artist name from the metadata. That's how it worked previously. Now, <Various Artists> yields the tag "Various Artists" instead of artist name.
Can you help me with this, please?

If you read the metadata from the internet then it will be presented at the top as <various artists>, as long as you do not edit this tag, then the actual artist names underneath should be fine, select a single track and the real artist name is shown.

Lower case. I hadn't thought of that. I'll give it a try.
I found the problem: The fields are looking for "display title" and "extended display title". How can I fix this?
That didn't work. Here's a picture of the problem: IMG_3066.jpg
And here's the related metadata:

Ok, let's go into the details:
1.) "artist name" is the name of a tag.
2.) "Peter Gabriel" can be i.e. a value for the tag "artist name"
3.) "<various artists>" is not a value you can assign to a tag like "artist name".
4.) "<various artists>" represents the values of a tag like "artist name", if you have selected more than one track, which have different values for their tag "artist name".
What to do?
I assign the names of the involved artists to the tracks, who might differ from track to track, and I do not assign any value to the tag "album artist", if it is a compilation of different artists.

Thanks for the quick reply. The tag <Various Artists> should be what populates a field like that. I found the problem using my Plex server.
