    Is it faster to rip everything in burst first and then pick the inaccurate tracks

    to re-rip them in secure mode?

    No. Bad idea. Secure mode will first try with BURST, and if AR match will then stop with good rip. It only moves on to the additional SECURE steps when the first Burst rip doesn't match. So it's all automatic. You're trying to turn an automatic, highly efficient process into a manual, very inefficient process. Let the software do its job.
