Updated to 17.2, now I can't see *.aif tags in Windows 10 file manager

I updated and I can still see my tags when I look at my folders containing *.FLAC files. I cannot see them for *.aif files. Worked perfectly before upgrading.

Any thoughts. *.aif are associated with windows media player in Windows, just like the *.flac.

If you hold the mouse over the aiff file, does it show the tags?

Yes I can see the tags. They are perfect for the *.aif files. I can use DBPoweranp tools to edit them...
If I look at file explorer details pane when selecting a flac file I see all of the tags filled in. When I look at an aif file they are all blank, when though I can select the file and right click and edit the tags perfectly. Also the typical file explorer display with all of the columns to match the tags is empty for aif but complete for flac. See attached images.flac.jpgflac.jpg

    Thanks for your help.

Which previous version did you have? (which worked)

I keep current. Whatever version falls just before 17.2, I guess
. And all versions previous to that.

Have you tried uninstalling dBpoweramp, restart Windows then reinstall dBpoweramp.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled. Still the same result. This is a tough one.

Windows 10 is fully up to date?

Which security software do you have?

OK at this rate I am never going to get an answer. Are you next going to ask me if I rebooted?

Latest windows. In fact I just updated to Windows 10 20H2 this week and it is still an issue.

    Windows Defender.

I keep all of my software up to date.

It was working perfectly for years and your latest update killed my ability to see any details for AIF without touching anything else.

I appreciate you trying to help me Spoon but this is taking forever this way.

Perfect. That did the trick. Is this a bug that will be sorted in a future release? What am I giving up by turning off that feature? I don't see any negative side affects.

Thanks for pointing out this fix. I suspect you only recently discovered the cause of my problems.

Next update will fix, you not lose much though.
