Can I Upgrade My Older Smart TV With A Better Audio Player To Use Asset UPnP?

I have a 2013 Panasonic TH-L60DT60A Viera TV.

It works and streams audio and video very well, but the audio player is somewhat limited.
Is there an easy way to upgrade it so to make better use of Asset UPnP?

I'd just like more functionality.
I currently have very little functionality.
Functionality is just "Play". No queueing. I can't see what is playing next.

You might look at a 'upnp control point' which could control the TV, you can get for the ipad, etc.
