    Question FDK AAC Frequency cutoff?

What is the frequency cutoff for FDK AAC bitrates 320kb and 512kb? Do I get full frequency up to 20khz using 512kb?
I have v16.2 How can I tell if I have the latest FDK AAC codec?

You would need R17.x to get the latest FDK release as it only now included as standard.

So is there any advantage to using 512kb bitrate over 320kb with FDK AAC?

The audio would be of higher quality, however at 500Kbps you are getting close to lossless sizes so might as well use lossless (flac or apple lossless) if your player supports.
