Glad to report that I converted the Botti album plus a couple of other albums. Thank you!
The only remaining puzzle/question is why the value in two fields from the .m4a mapping (Sort Album Artist and Sort Artist in Yate which map to "soaa" and "soar" respectively in .m4a didn't carry over to the flac fields "ALBUMARTISTSORT" and "ARTISTSORT" respectively.
Those fields are missing values consistently on all tracks converted to .flac.

Added workaround for momentarily unavailable files when writing tags, per error log above.
It would be interesting to know why this condition happens... as if something was working with the files (media scanner? virus scanner?) making them momentarily unavailable to dBpoweramp.
