question regarding use of the CLI Encoder and refalac...

hi guys, i've searched the forum and really couldn't find any answer relatively immediate. i'm currently re-ripping my library to Apple Lossless using refalac, however i am somewhat of a perfectionist and want to set-n-forget the whole process. i've set up refalac in the CLI, got my DSP's just the way i want but i am unsure if i should check "Highest Quality Decode Source" and/or "Pass Wave Header" in the CLI Encoder options. what i've done before is set the bit depth DSP to 32 bit float then dithered it to 16 bit triangular; i am not sure if any of these settings will interfere as i want to get the best output.

any advice would be super appreciated!

For ripping CDs you do not need float, keep the bit depth as 16 bit and that is losslessly compressed.

Possibly refalac is not needed, our Apple Lossless encoder is using Apples own code to create the files, the end result would be the same.
