    Gap (Pre-Track) Understanding

    A question in using the CD-Ripper software, I am trying to understand the use of Gaps(Pre-Track) better. Let's say I have a song that is 5:28 under the length column with a 2.00 Gap (Pre-Track). So, when I rip the CD to a digital file will I in turn have a song that is now 5:30? Or a song with a length of 5:28 and a 2.00 pre-track gap included? Or is the gap now gone forever?

    And how do I account for this (pre-gap) if I in turn want to eventually turn that said digital file and burn it into a new CD?

    Appreciate the help in advance. {example attachment included}

    Thanks.

    Scott

    Gaps are appended to the end of the track.
