How did you download Asset? Which exact link from?
Just downloaded and extracted the x86-64 archive, everything appears to be in working order.
I downloaded from the first sticky in the list on this forum, testing for the 6.7 beta and then the last one x64
If there is nothing wrong with the file I will investigate on my side but unpacking of a previous version worked
Downoaded using WGET, windows server and MacOs all with the same final result

As usual, upgrade without uninstalling the previous version, beta version will work as registered.
Changes since R6.6:
Install script now prints a link to the web interface upon successful startup of Asset.
Fixed an issue with browse tree shortcuts not working properly in some cases.
Added _gsdata_ to ignored folder names.
Additional debug logging of skipped music folder content.

The forum software inserts dots into the URLs to shorten them. If you select and copy them as plaintext you get nonsense, you have to right click and "copy link". Or click the link to download the file then transfer the file using other means.
So sorry,
I have obviously made a mistake, although I can't reproduce it. The good news is, it installed fine..
Thanks again
