After "Retrieving Metadata", losing track data

I insert new cd. I click Read. The track data comes up. I click Rip. Retrieving track Metadata comes up. All tracks change to Track 1, Track 2, etc.
Am I doing something wrong?

First make sure you are using the latest version, there were some issues in the older versions which could cause this. Also you are best waiting until the metadata is fully read before clicking rip.
