Thread: Ripping a CD into a single continuous track?

Ripping a CD into a single continuous track?

I have a internet music show. Many of the CDs I want to play have music where one track segues seamlessly into the next track. If I rip the CD into individual tracks (or, for that matter, play a CD with single track selected), the track ends cold. This sounds crappy, as well as losing the next track which logically should follow.

My specific question is: can I use this software to rip several tracks into a single track or stream, to enable me to play the full selection as the artist intended?

I see discussion about Rip As One, but I don't see how I can do that. So that is another question.

I'll mention that I use Mixxx, where I have to use ripped media, and where I cannot find an option to let me do a continuous play of multiple tracks.

Thanks to everyone for paying attention to my issue.

Rip as one is found in the cd ripper options menu.

    Hey Joe,

if you use a player (software), that is capable to play gapless, then there is no need to rip all tracks as one.
