Thread: Perfect Tunes - Jim S.

    Perfect Tunes - Jim S.

Edits of metadata including song titles and artwork are not applied to files in "Music" library. Program is registered but acts as if unregistered. Windows 10, music files were ripped with WMP from older CDs which had no title or artwork metadata. Thanks.

If you run the PerfecTUNES main program, does it say registered on the main screen?

Install the WMA codec from Codec Central (if you do not already have it), Right click on one of the wma files >> edit id tags and try to add art that way. Does the art write?

Do you have any further suggestions? (Registered program acts as if unregistered - editing tags not effective, art selections not saved.)

    Program Files:
    dBpoweramp decoder, encoder, Help, Versions

PerfectTUNES Audio Out decoder Help versions

    Windows 10, 64 bit

    Thanks, Jim

You were able to right click on the WMA file >> edit id tags?

it showed the ID Tags, but was unable to write any changes to the wma file?

Can you copy those files to a new folder outside of your Music library and edit them for a test?

It is likely not the programs, but something specific to these wma files, please email one to:

Your files are mp3 files, and I am able to tag them with both dBpoweramp and PerfectTUNES.

Please try this, take the file you sent me '02 little girl.mp3' >> right click >> edit id tags

For the album art section click 'Choose from internet', choose the art PerfectTUNES offers and click OK. Then send me that file please.
