Thread: Capture data shown to clipboard when mouse hovers over a file

Capture data shown to clipboard when mouse hovers over a file

When you hover the mouse over an audio file dbPoweramp displays file data in a popup box.

Is there anyway of copying the data from the popout box (keeping the layout and format if possible) to the clipboard?

At the moment I am trying to capture this popout using Print Screen but sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.
Also using this method results in a image file but I really need it as data.

Maybe a registry function could do this?

    Many thanks

belinea2010, although it doesn't help with collecting the data directly from the "hover",...

I've just noticed that in Windows, you can copy the data by "Right-clicking" the filename and selecting "Properties" .

Then, select the "Audio Properties" Tab.

At the bottom far right, you'll see "dBpoweramp ...". Yes, the "Three Little Dots" (Don't we all just love them !)...

Click them, and select "Copy to Clipboard".) Hope that helps, -Dropbear
