Is ripping songs from a DVD a hassle?

Let's say that each song was its own chapter on a DVD, will I have to rip the whole thing and then cut it manually within Audacity?

Use a proper tool like DVD Audio Extractor (http://www.dvdae.com/dvdae) and you will probably have to do very little post-processing.
