I have a library of approx 20,000 FLAC tracks that I am synchronising to AAC and ALAC. This was set up after a bit of experimentation and it is all working fine but with one exception. I found that during the second full sync the speed ground to a snails pace. After some diagnosis it appears that TuneFUSION creates one TMP*.tmp file in the users %temp% directory for every track synced together with TDE*.tmp folders. Once the temp directory has more than about 60,000 files in everything slows down. Stopping the sync, deleting the .tmp files and restarting fixed the issue. Surely TuneFusion should clean this stuff up itself. Also it seems that, even if it did so, if a single sync included more than around 60,000 tracks, this issue would always occur.
