Please upload to dropbox:

a) a flac file with the correct artist tags
b) a apple lossless file you have created from the flac file which has the artist tags missing

I will try the exact same conversion. Personal message me a link please to the files.

I have the file and it works as expected when converting that flac to alac.

If you can open dBpoweramp Control Centre >> Advanced and enable the music converter debug option at the end of the list.

Then convert that exact flac file to Apple Lossless. After conversion a debug log is created, paste here please.

Can you try with the DSP effect 'ID Tag Processing' and set it to delete the album art, then re-run with the debug log please.

Both artwork and tags are good when editing DSF using Music Converter. After conversion from DSF to Apple Lossless, artwork is good and tags are mostly lost. e.g. title, artist, album are lost. genere is good. this is really weird? any way to solve? Too bad. I am joining this thread from the other one. same problem here. I have done the following tests:
1. uninstall and re-install
2. try FLAC to Apple Lossless
3. add DSP, tags processing, remove artworks

none of these works. no luck :(

I use Windows 10. no security software except the one coming with Windows 10. Using R17 64bit. I haven't purchased the software yet. today is my first day to use it. if this problem is solved I will definitely pay for it.

Tell me about your computer, Windows version, any security software? Please as a test convert the FLAC file to m4a AAC (FDK), do the tags get written?
