    Encoding differences between computers

I have dbP R16.6 installed on two Windows 7 machines currently. A cd ripped on one at FLAC encoding level 8 produces a
a 16 bit/44.1 KHz file, while the other machine using the same setting and cd produces a 16bit/96 KHz file. All other parameters/settings are equivalent between the two dbP instances. What would account for the encoding difference? Thanks.

Check you have no DSP effects listed.

Yes -- that's it. I must have selected DSP while fooling around with my original install, and forgot about it. Thanks for the tip.
