    Genre listing has changed

It used to be that the genre list in the pull down contained a lot different list than now. For example, a list of different old time radio genres. Maybe it changed in an update of DB Power Amp? Can I add them back?

Thanks for any help. I have used DB Power Amp for several years

It is likely you did a Windows update and it cleared your Appdata folder, where the user entered genres are stored.

With Windows II the ability to add or delete genre names has changed and I can no longer add genre names

The file will still be there, in:

        %appdata%\dbpoweramp

if you open Windows file explorer and type that location.

I have located the app data as you suggested, but I am still unable to change anything

There is no Genre.txt in that folder?

I figured a way to do this. on the file I wish to change genre - right click and go to properties and then delete the existing genre and type the first letter and the alternative genres appear and select what you want to use
