dBoweramp WAVE files and Perfect TUNES

    Hi

Have been ripping (Waves) furiously with dBpoweramp for quite a while now and found some silly beginner's errors, which I wanted to correct.
I am some 8,500 files into my task.

I subsequently purchased PerfectTUNES to try and manage these corrections.

PerfectTUNES looked to have worked well enough, BUT, I discovered that all of the files in Finder remain untouched, as if no editing had been done at all.
PerfectTUNES shows changes but they do not "transmit" into Finder.

PerfectTUNES support/help say their software does not tag Wave files . . .
Odd, as Waves are one of main supported file formats in dBpoweramp.

    Anybody else had this problem?

If so, what is the best database app to use for this simple task?

    (Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6.)

many thanks for any suggestions out there . . . .

It is still not obvious what the simple task is about? What do you want to do?

PerfectTUNES will tag Wave files, it is just nothing much else (including finder) would read those tags.

Try converting your Wave files to AIFF or Apple Lossless, dBpoweramp Batch Converter will help there. All tags will be preserved.

        thanks for reply.

Corrections are such as mis-spellings, cataloguing errors, genre mis-matches and so on.

All the things you find once you have got a long way into a process, then find out you've been making mistakes.

many thanks for this, I'll try this out.

Apple product is just plain uncooperative when it comes to 3rd party software.
