    mp3 volume problem after conversion

    Hi,
I have been using dbpoweramp for quite a sometime. I used to convert m4a to mp3 format or mp3 to mp3 at lower bit rate to save space. After conversion, the sound of music file has considerable decrease than original one.
    What should I do ??

It's a bad idea to convert a lossy file (like m4a or mp3) to another lossy format. It will potentially decrease the audio quality of the tracks. If you must do this, you should convert at a very high bit rate (e.g., mp3 convert with LAME - V0). But this doesn't save you any space. Best practice with lossy files is to leave them alone.
