Any ideas as to why these albums won't sort properly?

    Hi all.

Here is a screen shot of a page in my Foobar2000 mobile app:

As you can see, after the first couple of entries, I have two complete Ring Cycles, conducted by Furtwängler. Alphabetically, they should sort by the Milan one followed by the RAI one.

    So, alphabetically, it should go:

    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 01...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 02...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 03...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 04...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 01...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 02...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 03...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 04...

This is how it sorts in iTunes, but for some reason, Foobar is putting them:

    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 01...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 01...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 02...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 03...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler RAI, 04...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 02...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 03...
    07-10: Ring, Furtwängler Milan, 04...

I've posted this on the Foobar support page, but I remember when I posted here about a "Grouping" entry that started appearing in iTunes & it turned out that iTunes was interpreting the "Style" tag from dBpoweramp & sticking it in the "Grouping" column, (which was easily solved by removing the "Style" tags before ripping the CD), so I thought someone hereabouts might be able to shed some light on my current predicament.

I can't find any other information (including sort fields) that is contained within the tags for the files so I'm a bit stuck.

Can anyone think of anything else that might be causing these albums to sort incorrectly in the Foobar2000 Mobile App?

    Thanks.

Perhaps there is a double space between Furtwängler RAI

I've no doubt it will be something dumb like that, but no. No double spaces.

In case it's of any interest/help, here are some screen grabs from the "edit tags with dBpoweramp" window...

In the order they sort in Foobar...

Of course, they sort correctly in iTunes, so I'm clueless.

I'm gonna check the basics again.
