    MAC CD Ripper not reading my external CD Drive

    Hi all,

    New user, first post!

    Firstly, Happy New Year to you all....

    I have previously been happily using dBpoweramp on a Windows laptop with a built in CD optical drive. I've now swapped over to MAC but cannot get the CD Ripper software to read my external optical CD drive linked up to my MAC via USB 3.0. It automatically starts up iTunes and starts ripping it in there.

    Any pointers would be much appreciated!

      macOS Catalina (or newer) introduces per program security access settings, normally OS X will ask when the program tries to access something if it should be granted permission. This security setting can also be set at a later date, click the Apple menu icon: System Preferences >> Security & Privacy >>
