How do I upgrade my Synology from Asset R6.2 to the latest version?

** Apologises if there's already a post about this - I couldn't find it if there is **

I did a manual install of Asset R6.2 sometime ago, what’s the easiest way of now updating this with the latest version? Given there’s now a Synology install package do I just need to run the appropriate spk?

If you did a manual install you will have to ensure that the old asset is not on autostart (was in crontab?), then install the spk.
