How to Open Asset to tell whether it is scanning on Windows 10

Can you please provide a simple step-by-step procedure fore opening Asset on a Windows 10 PC to see when it is scanning the local library?

If you run Asset Configuration it will show the scanning status.

When you install asset you get an icon called Asset Configuration, run it and it shows the status.
